President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic attended the service.
In his sermon, Hocevar also highlighted the miracle of birth, saying it was both incomprehensible and unacceptable that 300,000 inhabitants had disappeared in Serbia in the last decade.
He prayed that all inhabitants of Serbia become pioneers of a new culture of life for the country, the region and Europe.
