Bandic said the magazine was praised by the Zagreb and Croatian public, voicing confidence the reception in Rome would be the same.
He said the magazine was a crowning achievement of the friendly relations between the two peoples and cultures, and that he was pleased the magazine was issued ahead of Croatia's accession to the European Union next July.
Bandic went on to say that Rome-Zagreb cooperation had intensified over the last three years, including a letter of intent signed this past March, thanking Rome Mayor Gianni Alemanno for his contribution.
Croatian Ambassador in Rome Damir Grubesa also spoke of the magazine and its significance for the friendship and cooperation between Croatia and Italy as well as Zagreb and Rome.
