Pusic said that of the 51 tasks identified in the spring monitoring report, ten remained, and that there was an action plan for carrying them out, including deadlines.
She said that upon joining the EU, Croatia would not leave the region behind and that "a stable region is in our interest."
The delegation wanted to know if Croatia expected problems with the ratification of its EU Accession Treaty and what it expected of the Commission's spring report.
Pusic said the treaty would be ratified by 20 countries by the New Year and the rest would do so at the pace envisaged. She was hopeful that Slovenia would not be the last to do so.
"Nothing's over until it's over, but our Action Plan firmly defines our commitments and the deadlines to meet them," she said.
Speaking of the region, Pusic said "it's our responsibility to develop good neighbourly relations in the region."
