Croatia is a small country with only four and a half million inhabitants and must therefore find its advantages, Milanovic said, adding that he had not come to Pittsburgh to call on emigrants to come to Croatia with their money because it was a story they had heard many times.
"I won't talk about the politics and political affiliation of my government because I haven't come for your votes. This is also a certain difference between us and all others, whom I respect, but when I travel abroad, here or to Bosnia and Herzegovina, because that's abroad too, I don't come for votes. I come to talk. We come to BiH to help. You don't need help, you know everything you need to know. Congratulations once again," said Milanovic.
He added that the ties between the Croatian Fraternal Union and Croatia were unbroken also because of the Union's nurturing of culture and tradition.
On Friday, Milanovic will address the UN General Assembly.
