"In school-building, there's HRK 1.47 billion available whenever you want it," Cacic said during Question Time to HDSSB deputy Igor Cesek's question about "pompously" announced investments in Slavonia and Baranja.
Cacic said investments in road infrastructure worth HRK 394,874,364 were being realised.
Also during Question Time, Labour Minister said a broad debate on a new labour act would be launched by year's end and that a task force would be formed early next year to draw up the bill.
Mrsic said the new law would attempt to make hiring easier, although he said the current one did not stop layoffs, as evidenced by the jobless figure exceeding 300,000.
He said the bill would be drawn up together with the social partners, and that solutions were needed for reducing the number of temporary employment contracts.
