Radivojevic left the SDA to join the SDP, enabling the replacement of management and supervisory boards in several companies and expediting the break-up of the entity's ruling coalition, which also includes the Party of Rights and the People's Party Work for Betterment.
The SDP condemned in the strongest terms Budimir's attempt to replace Radivojevic, who is also a deputy prime minister, saying in a statement it was done at the orders of SDA president Sulejman Tihic.
"After trying to cause a crisis in the country, the SDA is doing everything to cause a state of emergency by undermining the constitutional order," the statement said, adding that in order to keep positions, the SDA was willing to resort to frame-ups.
The SDP Main Committee supported the members of the Federation government that represent the new parliamentary majority and condemned attempts to obstruct the government's work.
The SDP has launched the ousting of the SDA from the state Council of Ministers, the Federation government and the governments in four Federation cantons after the SDA voted against the 2012 state budget.
