ZAGREB, April 17
(Hina) - President Ivo Josipovic said on Tuesday
that some events at Bleiburg, occurring at annual commemorations held
there on the occasion of the Remembrance Day for Croatian victims in
the fight for freedom and independence, were contrary to the spirit of
the Constitution and constitutional tradition and that the Croatian
parliament should not sponsor such events, noting that the suffering
of innocent victims should nevertheless be commemorated.
