Croatian cuisine magazine voted 3rd best in world

ZAGREB, March 18 (Hina) - The French Gourmand Magazine has awarded Croatia's cuisine magazine Ice&Pice the Gourmand 2011 award as the third best magazine in its field in the world, Ice&Pice owner and publisher Damir Fabijanic said last Monday.

The award was presented in Paris at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, which took place during the Paris Cookbook Fair on March 7-11.

First prize went to the US magazine Lucky Peach and second prize went to the Austrian-German magazine Falstaff.

Croatian author Srecko Lorger's book "Sve je to jena kuzina" was voted fourth best in its category.

Ice&Pice has been published since 2007 every two months and has a circulation of 15,000-17,000.

It is sold in Croatia and Slovenia, and has a section in English.
