ZAGREB, Feb 28
(Hina) - The International League of Humanists (ILH)
has conferred on Croatian film director Veljko Bulajic, Polish
director Andrzej Wajda and Greek director Costa Gavras the awards
"20th Century Humanist Film Director" for their peacemaking engagement
during the 1990s wars in the former Yugoslavia, including the siege of
the Croatian coastal city of Dubrovnik and the Bosnian capital of
Sarajevo.
