MOSLEM FORCES LAUNCH NEW OFFENSIVE ON BUSOVACA

VITEZ, Dec 26 (Hina) - Moslem forces launched a new offensive on the Busovaca area, central Bosnia, at 14:35 today. They attempted to break through Busovaca defence lines (20 km south of Zenica), reported Hina's correspondent from Vitez. The local Croatian Defence Council (HVO) brigade said that it is the fiercest Moslem attack on Busovaca defence lines in the last few months. The center of the town of Busovaca was shelled and afterwards Moslem infantry supported by cannons attacked the defence lines. According to the same source, HVO members repelled the attacks. Moslem forces opened today mortar fire at the center of Novi Travnik. No casualties were reported. HVO formations successfully repelled a Moslem attack launched in the morning on the direction Zaselje-Vecerska-Jelin Skok, south- west of Vitez. 261704 MET dec 93
