ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
Thursday Head of the ICRC Cornelio Sommaruga, said the Presidential
office.
The talks focused on the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina and difficult
humanitarian situation there. They also discussed the forthcoming Geneva
negotiations.
Talking about the contribution Croatian Government made towards
humanitarian aid delivery to civilian population in Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Cornelio Sommaruga thanked President Tudjman for the appeal on honoring
the Geneva conference and international humanitarian law in war-stricken
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Talking about the situation in Croatia, President Tudjman emphasized
the problem on missing persons during the Serb aggression against
Croatia and he asked Sommaruga for help in accelerating the POW's
exchange, especially the exchange of "the group from Sombor".
The continuation of all humanitarian actions in Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina was also discussed at the meeting, said the Presidential
office.
