ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Thursday
received in separate visits the Bishop of Sibenik, Msgr Srecko Badurina,
and the retired Serbian Orthodox Archbishop of Rijeka, Josip Pavlisic, said
a statement released by the President's Office.
The talks focused on the functioning of the Catholic Church in the UN
Protected Areas and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia.
It was agreed that UNPROFOR should be requested to enable the functioning
of both Churches in the entire territory of Croatia, that damage inflicted
on Catholic and Orthodox churches should be assessed and those responsible
for it found.
