CEASEFIRE IN OGULIN AREA SIGNED

OTOCAC, Nov 23 (Hina) - Through UNPROFOR mediation a ceasefire in the Lika region was arranged today. The region encompasses the area from Ogulin (some 60 km south of Karlovac) Gracac (some 120km south of Karlovac). The ceasefire in this area which is partly situated in UNPA North and partly in UNPA South will come into effect at 12:00 tomorrow. The ceasefire agreement also provides for four hot lines between Ogulin and Plaski, Vrhovine and Otocac, Licki Osik and Buntic, and between Gracac and Gospic. The ceasefire was agreed upon at a meeting held today at the UNPROFOR check-point Sajnarica near Otocac. (End) 232116 MET nov 93
