TOMISLAVGRAD, Nov 23. (Hina) - Major Patrick Darling, commander
of the UNPROFOR British battalion based in Tomislavgrad, South-
West Bosnia, said on Tuesday that a humanitarian aid convoy for
central Bosnia may arrive in Tomislavgrad in the afternoon. Major
Darling also said that this convoy is going to spend the night in
Tomislavgrad and then proceed to central Bosnia at 6:30 Wednesday
morning.
The British officer said that General Ante Roso, Commander-in-
Chief of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO), guaranteed that HVO
forces will not disturb movement of the convoy.
The commander of the UNPROFOR British contingent in Bosnia,
Brigadier John G. Reith, met with General Roso in Tomislavgrad on
Monday.
Major Darling said today that these top military officials
discussed free passage of the humanitarian convoy from
Tomislavgrad, Prozor and Gornji Vakuf to a UNHCR warehouse in
Zenica. From this warehouse aid is going to be distributed to
civilians in central Bosnia, equally to Croats and Muslims.
Major Darling pointed out that Nova Bila's hospital remains main
preoccupation of the UNPROFOR. Everything will be done to
alleviate suffering of the patients in this hospital.
