GLAVAS AND VON FLUE ON CROATIAN PRISONERS-OF-WAR

OSIJEK, Nov 22 (Hina) - The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Zagreb, Carlo Von Flue, talked to head of Osijek County Branimir Glavas in Osijek on Monday evening. Mr Glavas told reporters before the meeting behind close doors that from Mr Flue he expected an answer to a request made several months before concerning the release of Croatian POWs held in camps and prisons in Serbia, Vojvodina and Baranja in particular the release of the so-called Sombor Group. Following the meeting Mr Von Flue told reporters that the so- called Sombor Group was part of the Budapest Agreement on the exchange of POWs, that it was a priority, but that he could not specify the day they would exchanged. 222037 MET nov 93
