ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - Representatives of a dozen major
international humanitarian organizations active in Croatia
visited the Croatian Government Office for Refugees on Monday.
Head of the Office Adalbert Rebic informed them of the problems
related to care for some half a million refugees and displaced
persons as well as of the arrival of more refugees from central
Bosnia. The Office needs about 12 thousand tonnes of food and 10
thousand tonnes of toiletries a month, but gets about 7 thousand
tonnes of aid. Mr Rebic stressed that aid to the refugees staying
with families should be urgently increased.
