SARAJEVO, Nov 21 (Hina) - Prime Minister of the B-H Government
Dr. Haris Silajdzic held a meeting with Greek Foreign Minister
Karlos Papoulias in the Split airport on Saturday, the Sarajevo
radio broadcast this morning.
Greek Foreign Minister Papoulias said that his country "is very
interested in resuming the peace process and achieving a final
agreement," especially because Greece should undertake the role
of the chair of the European Community (EC) from the first of
January 1994. He added that the war on the area of the former
Yugoslavia, especially the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina were
destabilizing the entire region.
Commenting on humanitarian aid dispatched to B-H, Greek Minister
reiterated that it would be most important to cease all
hostilities. Minister Popoulias also informed his interlocutor of
the results of his visits to Southern European countries and of
the measures the EC was to undertake in order that humanitarian
corridors be established.
According to the Sarajevo radio, Prime Minister Silajdzic
informed Greek Foreign Minister of initiatives and measures made
by the B-H government to stop the war in B-H as soon as possible.
