BRUSSELS, Nov 18 (Hina) - The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister of Croatia, Mate Granic, met with the political adviser to
the secretary-general of NATO, Von Moltke, at the NATO headquarters
in Brussels on Thursday.
Minister Granic stressed that Croatia would accept the dynamic
plan of solving the crisis in the former Yugoslavia unless firm
assurances and guarantees are provided for the territorial
integrity and sovereignty of Croatia, along with the cessation of
fire, establishment of communications and resolution of other
matters.
"Mr Von Moltke wanted to know whether Croatia strongly supported a
peace option," said Minister Granic, adding that the talks also
focused on the resolution of the humanitarian situation in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
"President Tudjman's initiative was received with great interest.
It was received with understanding for the basic requests of the
Republic of Croatia," said Minister Granic.
