ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - UN High Commissioner for Refugees Sadako Ogata on
Tuesday invited representatives of the three warring parties in Bosnia-
Herzegovina to attend a meeting in Geneva on Thursday, 18 November. The aim
of the meeting is to win assurances from all the three parties to the
conflict for unimpeded passage and security of UNHCR relief convoys in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, explained UNHCR spokesman Peter Kessler in Zagreb on
Tuesday.
Mrs Ogata's initiative has so far been accepted by Bosnian Serb leader
Radovan Karadzic and Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic, while
answers from the Croatian and Moslem sides are still expected, said the
spokesman.
