"We have met in Strasbourg recently and today we have agreed what we have promised our European colleagues, that we will send a joint delegation to Sarajevo, Tuzla, Herzeg-Bosnia and elsewhere to get a real picture of what is happening in those areas," Mr Mesic told reporters after the talks. He went on to say that the meeting cleared many problems, and that agreement was reached that Bosnia-Herzegovina should be preserved a state of three sovereign nations. Mr Mesic said that no one could be pardoned for pulling down the old stone bridge in Mostar. he said that all those who had committed crimes must be found, after which cooperation and communication could be restored. Mr Lazovic pointed out that first conflicts, particularly those in central Bosnia, must be brought to a stop, as well as expulsion of people from their homes, and that it must be made possible for the Croats, Moslems and Serb to return to their homes. 111928 MET nov 93
