HVO HQ'S REPORT ON BATTLEFIELDS IN HERZEG-BOSNIA

MOSTAR, Nov 6 (Hina) - The units of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) on the Zepce battlefield (Central Bosnia) repelled an infantry attack of the Moslem formations after two-hour fighting at the confrontation line of Panadur-Blagojevic Brdo-Varda direction last night, said the Headquarters of the HVO in Saturday morning's report on the situation on the battlefields in the last 24 hours. The whereabouts of the two civilians from the village of Viniste remain unknown after the massacre committed by the Moslem forces in that village in Central Bosnia. Concentration of fresh Moslem forces was registered in the Zavidovic crisis area, said the same report, whereas the Moslem formations carried out armed provocations in the valley of the Lasva River at the same time. The town of Vitez was impacted by several mortar rounds in the last 24 hours. According to the same report, only minor armed provocations of the Moslem units were registered on the Mostar battlefield (Herzegovina) in the last 24 hours. The Moslem formations, from the directions of Pisvir, Kamenolom, Studentska Planina, Supla Stijena and Her, opened small arms and anti-aircraft machine-gun fire at the battlefield of Tomislavgrad. Occasional armed provocations of the Moslem Army were reported from the Gornji Vakuf (Uskoplje) crisis area in the last 24 hours, according to the same source. (End) mm 061310 MET nov 93
