VARES DEFENCE SEIZES BACK TERRITORIES

MOSTAR, Nov 1 (HABENA/Hina) - Occasional provocations by the Muslim units were recorded along the entire frontline of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, particularly in southeast Herzegovina and in the Vares Municipality, informed HABENA. In yesterday's combats, HVO units managed to seize back the areas (Perun and Planinarski Dom) which are on the northwest accesses to Vares (central Bosnia). There are still no reports on the fate of civilians from the village of Dubostica, the same source said. Forty civilians and soldiers forced their way from Bugojno through the woods and arrived in Livno, while 22 HVO members managed to flee from Muslim imprisonment in Jablanica (northwest Herzegovina), the same source stated.
