CAIRO, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nadan Vidosevic is
on a three-day working visit in Egypt at the invitation of Egyptian
Economy and Foreign Trade Minister Mohamed Mahmud.
The first two bilateral agreements between the two countries
were signed during the visit - one on trade and another on economic
cooperation, Vidosevic said today in a statement.
During his visit Vidosevic also met Egypt's Minister for
International Relations, Jusef Butros-Gali, and Energy Minister
Mohamed Maher Abaz.
Vidosevic took part in the work of the UNCTAD on economic
cooperation between Egypt and central and eastern European
countries.
Representatives from Croatia's leading oil company INA renewed
a contract with the Egyptian EGPC oil corporation on concessions in
oil and gas exploration in Egypt.
Egypt temporarily suspended the contract during Moslem-Croat
