ZAGREB, Nov 8 (Hina) - Thirty-three aircraft landed at Sarajevo
airport on Monday, UNPROFOR spokesman Michael Williams told a press
conference in Zagreb today.
Of the tirty-three, five were UN aircraft, three belonged to
the Red Cross and 25 to UNHCR, he specified.
The airlift operation continued despite an extremely tense
military situation and numerous incidents, Williams said, adding
that a peak number of flights had been recorded in October.
The situation, however, remained very difficult both in
Sarajevo and in the eastern-Bosnian enclaves, which were not easily
reachable by UNPROFOR and UNHCR convoys.
