ZAGREB, Nov 4 (Hina) - Talks in Knin were 'very difficult and
strenuous', the Chief Croatian government negotiator at talks with
rebel Serbs, Hrvoje Sarinic, last night told the Croatian TV show.
Sarinic said the talks were based on a document prepared by
the International Conference on the Former Yugoslavia.
He emphasized that the document's introductory article said
that all meetings had to be based on UN Security Council
resolutions, and those resolutions confirmed Croatia's sovereignty
in the occupied areas.
Sarinic announced that talks would be resumed in Zagreb on 15
November.
The Croatian delegation determined the deadline for the
signing of an agreement, and that is 21 November 1994, because we
cannot accept the further stalling, Sarinic said.
