ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - "My impending meeting with Minister
Vladislav Jovanovic (on Friday) in Zagreb has been arranged at the
express proposal and initiative of the co-chairmen of the Peace
Conference on Former Yugoslavia," Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate
Granic, said today.
This meeting "will be yet another opportunity for us to insist
on Croatia's conditions and demands for normalisation, on which
issue Croatia enjoys the support of the international community.
After these conditions have been met, Croatia is ready to consider
a whole set of treaties and agreements in order to normalise the
relations between the two countries and nations," Minister Granic
said.
He said Croatia was ready for dialogue and willing to talk
about all issues, "but would not be prepared to make any
concessions when it came to the principle of mutual recognition
within the internationally recognised borders, the peaceful
reintegration of temporarily occupied territories and the status of
ethnic communities and minorities in both countries."
