ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Croatian bishops, the participants in the
Croatian Bishop's Conference held in Zagreb from October 11-14,
sent a letter to Croatian Catholics.
One month after the Pope's visit to Zagreb, the Croatian
bishops said that the Holy Father's pray for peace and words of
encouragement for those who contributed to right peace in Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina were of great importance.
The letter said that tens of thousands of displaced persons
from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina expressed a wish during the
Pope's visit to peacefully and freely return to their homes.
"Every wish to expel other people from their homes is out of
the question because we are well aware that justice cannot be
achieved by doing injustice," said the letter.
The Pope's speeches are inspiration and sign for the Croatian
Church and people.
We will make efforts towards the implementation of the Pope's
message, the letter concluded.
