MOSTAR, Oct 8, (Hina) - A United States of America delegation, led
by the co-ordinator of the State Economic Assistance department,
Ralph Johnson, yesterday visited Mostar.
According to HABENA state media, the delegation was interested
in determining how best to invest $20 million US which president
Clinton cleared as support for the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The US delegation and officials representing the Croatia
Republic Herzegovina met at a European administration session at
the Ero hotel.
President of the Republic of Croatia Herzegovina-Bosnia
Presidential Council, Kresimir Zubak, suggested the funds be used
to repair the railway route from the Croatian Port of Ploce to
Sarajevo, to repair hydroelectric plants at the Neretva river, to
rebuild the destroyed bridge on the Sava river at Oarsje, and for
road construction in central Bosnia.
