ZAGREB, Sep 16 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime and Foreign Minister
Mate Granic today received Horst Weisel, Gavin Hewitt and Georges
Marie Chenu, the German, British and French ambassadors, at their
own request, said the Croatian Foreign Ministry.
The ambassadors said their counties attached significance to
UNPROFOR activities. It was necessary that Croatia reach an
agreement with UNPROFOR by which their relations would be
regulated, they said.
After he explained Croatia's view on the necessity of the
reintegration of UNPAs, Minister Granic said that the concluding of
the agreement would depend on the outcome of talks on the extension
of UNPROFOR's mandate. Minister Granic stressed that the Croatian
Parliament would discuss the issue.
Minister Granic informed the ambassadors about talks held
between Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, Bosnian President Alija
Izetbegovic and the Croatian and the Bosniac-Croat Federation's
delegations.
