VITEZ, Aug 15 (Hina) - The units of the Croatian Defence Council
(HVO) in the Vitez area have carried out completely their tasks
defined in a peace accord, signed on March 12 in Split by
commanders of the HVO and Bosnian army ahead of the Washington
agreements on the (Croat-Bosniac) Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
as by the commander of the HVO forces in the Vitez area, Brigadier
Filip Filipovic, said today.
He also said that the HVO forces had withdrawn to a
disengagement line, defined by the accord, and removed their
lookouts in the region. Brigadier Filipovic added he was sure the
Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina would do the same.
