NOVA BILA, July 6 (Hina/HABENA) - First trucks of a humanitarian
convoy, as the donation of the Republic of Croatia to the (Croat-
Bosniac) Federation, reached its destination in Nova Bila (central
Bosnia) at 20:30 hrs Wednesday, reported the Nova Bila parish
priest, Friar Ante Grebenar. The rest of the convoy was still at
the entrance to the town of Novi Travnik, five and a half
kilometres away from Nova Bila, waiting for allowance to pass
further, said Herzeg-Bosnian news agency (HABENA). Those trucks are
expected to arrive in Novi Travnik this evening, according to the
same agency.
The convoy sent from Croatia under sponsorship of Croatian
President Dr. Franjo Tudjman, is loaded with food supplies and
medicines worth of one million German marks.
The aid is to be delivered to Croats and Bosniacs in Bosnia.
Two hundred tonnes of the food supplies and part of medicines from
the aid will be dispatched in Sarajevo.
