ZAGREB, July 2 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
Saturday evening participants in the Second convention of the
Croatian World Congress, which took place in Zagreb in the last two
days.
In talks with Croatian emigrants, President Tudjman stressed
the importance of their efforts to strengthen friendly relations
between Croatia and countries they lived in, and invited them to
return to their homeland.
Emigrants thanked the President for his efforts in creating
the independent Croatian state.
The meeting was also attended by head of the Presidential
Office Jure Radic, his deputy Branimir Jaksic, member of the Human
and Minority Rights Commission Ivan Milas, president of the
Croatian Emigrants' Association Ante Beljo and members of the
Croatian diplomatic corps.
