ZAGREB, June 4 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Presidential
office, Dr. Jure Radic, received today in Zagreb Otto Schneider,
the president of the Association of German Tourist Agencies. The
Association includes about three thousand agencies.
The establishment of peace and stability in the neighbouring
Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina is one of the principal conditions
for revival of tourism in Croatia, Dr. Radic pointed out during the
meeting.
Schneider said that the Association prompted German tourists
to spend their holidays on the Croatian peninsula of Istria. He
talked about the prospects of developing tourist services for
elderly and retired people, and underlined that retired Germans
were especially interested in several-month-long holidays in winter
the south of Croatia.
