SERB ATTACKS ON ORASJE-SAMAC BATTLEFIELD

ORASJE, May 8 (Hina) - Serb aggressors' forces opened artillery and sniper fire on the Orasje-Samac battlefield (northern Bosnia- Herzegovina, on the right bank of the Sava river) just before 07:00 hrs Sunday, reported the local command of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) today. The Serb forces, located in their stronghold of Obudovac, fired several 82-mm mortar rounds at the village of Ostra Luka in this crisis area. The aggressors' troops continued their armed provocations during Sunday morning, said the same source. The armed assaults of the Serb formations, located in villages of Jenjici and Lepnica, were also registered on the Orasje battlefield during Saturday evening when mortar shells hit a road in the crisis area. Afterwards the aggressors' forces from Obudovac fired several mortar rounds on the Orasje-Samac battlefield from 19:00 to 19:00 hrs yesterday, according to the same report.
