ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General
Yasushi Akashi and Deputy Secretary General of the NATO Sergio
Balanzino are to hold a meeting in Zagreb on Thursday afternoon in
order to discuss the crisis in the former Yugoslavia, said UNPROFOR
Spokesman in Zagreb Matthew Nerzig at today's news conference.
The talks will be also attended by UNPROFOR Chief Commander
Gen. Bertrand de Lapresle and Commander of the U.S. forces in
Europe Gen. George Joulwan, said Nerzig.
He added that after the meeting, talks between representatives
of the NATO and UNPROFOR would be held. Yasushi Akashi and Sergio
Balanzino will hold a press conference today at the UNPROFOR HQ in
Zagreb, said the UNPROFOR Spokesman.
