ZADAR, April 14 (Hina) - The head of Zadar-Knin County and
government coordinator for UNPROFOR in Sector South, Sime
Prtenjaca, held talks with the head of the European Union Monitor
Mission in Sector South, Vasilis Dertilis, in Zadar on Thursday.
Dertilis informed Prtenjaca of the implementation of the March
29 cease-fire agreement, stressing that first difficulties began to
arise after a good start.
Alun Roberts, spokesman for the UN Protection Force in Sector
South, told a Zadar press conference yesterday the UNPROFOR command
was not fully satisfied with the implementation of the cease-fire
agreement as military formations failed to completely pull out of
the southeastern and northern part of the Sector.
Prtenjaca spoke of the efforts of Croatian government and
county authorities to return the refugees to their homes.
