ZAGREB, March 8 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic met
with the US president's special envoy Charles Redman in Zagreb on
Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The meeting also involved Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader,
Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Miomir
Zuzul and U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Peter Galbraith.
It was said that the negotiations on documents pursuant to the
Washington agreement were well under way. Special emphasis was laid
on cooperation with the European Union, particularly in the final
stage of reaching an overall settlement.
The talks also focused on possible ways of the peaceful
reintegration of occupied territories into the political, legal and
economic system of Croatia, as well as prospects for Croatia's
joining European integration processes and the world economy.
