ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - The UN secretary general's special
representative to former Yugoslavia, Yasushi Akashi, told reporters
in Zagreb on Thursday he was satisfied with a preliminary agreement
between Bosnian Moslems and Croats signed in Washington on Tuesday.
"I'm glad agreement has been reached between the Croats and
Bosnian authorities, as well as between Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina," on establishing a federation of two constituent
peoples and a possible confederation with Croatia, Akashi said.
"I hope an adequate agreement with the Serb side in Bosnia-
Herzegovina will soon follow," he added.
