MAZOWIECKI IN PAKRAC - SHORT VERSION

PAKRAC, May 24 (Hina) - UN special rapporteur for human rights, Tadeusz Mazowiecki, said his impressions were still foggy, speaking to an end-of-meeting press-conference in Pakrac, where he had consecutive talks with local Serb leader Veljko Dzakula, non- governmental organizations respresentatives, the local people, a Croatian minister Ivan Majdak, and police precinct chief, Nikola Ivkanec. "I came here to see the overall situation regarding the Serb population life conditions. It is normal, considering the nature my mandate," Mazowiecki said.
