ZAGREB, May 24 (Hina) - Croatia's ambassador to Romania, Nikola
Debelic, and attache Boris Ivezic on Monday visited Cluj County,
the cultural centre of Transylvania, a Foreign Ministry statement
said.
They met for talks with County prefect Grigore Zanc, deputy
mayor Mihai Grabu and County Council deputy president Vasile
Salcudeanu.
Debelic presented the hosts with promotional literature on
the export potentials of eleven Croatian companies, with special
emphasis on the tool industry and the INA oil company.
The Croatian officials stressed the possibilities of
cooperation between the regional chambers of commerce of the
Adriatic ports of Split and Rijeka, and Cluj companies.
The hosts said they would like to renew friendly relations
at economic and social levels, which had earlier been established
between Cluj and Zagreb, the statement concluded.
