SERB ATTACKS CONTINUE UNABATED IN NORTHEASTERN BOSNIA

TOLISA, May 21 (Hina) - Serb forces today attacked all Croat HVO positions in the Orasje area of norhteastern Bosnia with tank, howitzer, mortar and artillery fire. Serbs also launched several combined tank and infantry attacks in attempts to break through the HVO defences but were repelled, the local Croat Defence Council (HVO) command said in a statement. Serb artillery also pounded civilian targets in Croat-held villages, inflicting extensive material damage. The heaviest attacks in the early afternoon were recorded in the eastern part of the enclave, where Serbs were amassing tanks and armoured personnel carriers.
