SARAJEVO, May 12 (Hina) - Bosnian Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic
today strongly condemned the conduct of UN forces during the recent
events in western Slavonia, accusing them of "overt complicity in
genocide".
Silajdzic said the Bosnian Government had compelling evidence
that UN Military Observers and members of the UN Civilian Police
were encouraging Serbs to cross the Bosnian border without the
knowledge and consent of the Sarajevo government. The actual
transfer was being carried out by UNCRO.
According to Silajdzic, 9,945 Serbs were shipped from Western
Slavonia to Bosnia in this way.
"If their scenario is to change the demographic structure of
Bosnia, these acts constitute complicity in genocide," Silajdzic
stressed.
