FIERCE FIGHTING IN NORTHERN BOSNIA

TOLISA, May 11 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb forces renewed artillery attacks along the northern Orasje-Samac frontline at 09.00 hours Thursday. Hundreds of howitzer and tank shells were landing all over the area, including residential districts, local Bosnian Croat (HVO) command said in a statement. At 10.00 hours Serbs launched a combined tank and infantry attack, but were pushed back to previous positions after a two-hour battle, the statement said. Serb units had fired more than 1,000 tank and mortar shells in the morning hours, but HVO forces had no casualties, the same source said. At 13.00 hours shelling was still going on.
