BOSNIAN SERBS ATTACK CROAT HVO POSITIONS IN SOUTH-WEST, NORTH

MOSTAR, May 8 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs yesterday opened occasional artillery fire on the southwestern Livno front, Bosnian Croat defence officials said in a statement this morning. Four 120-mm mortar projectiles were fired from Serb positions on the wider Kupres area and one on the Livno municipality. Serbs fired four missiles at Croatian Defence Council (HVO) lines on the Livno front and opened occasional mortar and cannon fire from the direction of the village of Priluka. Serb infantry launched occasional attacks last night on the Stolac front. There were no reports of new provocations this morning. Bosnian Serbs opened occasional small-arms fire last night on the Usora front, the local HVO said. Serbs were also active on the Orasje front in northern Bosnia this morning.
