SARAJEVO, May 11 (Hina) - Yesterday's Serb offensive on Orasje did
not produce any significant results, the UN in Sarajevo said today.
According to UNPROFOR spokesman Gary Coward, the Serbs strove
all day to break through the Orasje defence lines, succeeding only
in moving the frontline for 200 yards here and there.
The fiercest of their infantry advances took place around
13:00 hours. UN forces counted over 2,000 detonations yesterday and
this morning.
Simultaneously, Serb infantry launched an advance on Bosnian
army positions near Sapna, but failed.
In western Bosnia, artillery clashes were reported on the
separation line south and east of Velika Kladusa, where 291
detonations were registered.
