AKASHI TO MEET MILOSEVIC AND KRAJINA SERB LEADERS IN BELGRADE

ZAGREB, May 9 (Hina) - UN Secretary General's special envoy Yasushi Akashi was on a visit to Belgrade, where he would meet with Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic and Croatian Serb leaders from Knin, UN spokesman in Zagreb Chris Gunnes said this afternoon. The meeting with Milosevic was scheduled for 1 pm and after that Akashi would talk with Borislav Mikelic, one of the Krajina Serb leaders. There was a possibility that he would also meet with Milan Martic, Gunnes said. One of the main topics would be the latest developments and the situation in Croatia, according to Gunnes.
