ZAGREB, Apr 6 (Hina) - The Zagreb headquarters of UN forces will be
called UNPF - United Nations Peace Forces, in line with
instructions from New York, the UN spokesman in Zagreb, Michael
Williams, told reporters today.
"This will be the headquarters of all UN operations in former
Yugoslavia - including UNCRO (in Croatia), UNPROFOR (in Bosnia-
Herzegovina) and UNPREDEP (in Macedonia)," Williams said.
The UN Secretary-General's special representative, Yasushi
Akashi, and UN Force Commander, Gen. Bertrand Janvier, are to leave
for New York next week, to hold consultations with UN mediator
Thorvald Stoltenberg and the Secretary-General, Boutros Boutros-
Ghali, Williams said. They are to discuss details of the UNCRO
mandate and the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
