ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister, Nikica Valentic,
today received the incoming French Ambassador, Jean-Jacques
Gaillarde.
The pair discussed Croatia's relations with France and the
European Union as well as Croatia's economic policy.
Croatia's relations with France and the European Union had
taken a very positive course, said Gaillarde after the meeting.
Asked about Croatia's chances to join the PHARE program and to
start negotiations on a trade and cooperation agreement with the
EU, Gaillarde said he hoped positive decisions on these issues
would soon be reached.
