SARAJEVO, Feb 28 (Hina) - UN military observers reported that
battle lines in western Bosnia were relatively quiet in the last 24
hours. There was a significant decrease in recent days in the
number of detonations counted at all separation lines.
A serious incident occurred at Mala Kladusa where a UNHCR
convoy yesterday came under small arms fire.
A UNHCR spokesman in Sarajevo said that eight empty trucks
which had returned to Zagreb had unwittingly found themselve at the
centre of conflict. Bangladeshi UN soldiers evacuated all the
drivers into their bases at Velika Kladusa. No one was injured in
the incident.
One convoy carrying provisions for the 'blue helmets' arrived
safely at Cazin.
