SARAJEVO, Feb 24 (Hina) - UN military observers have counted 76
detonations in the Tesanj surroundings, northern Bosnia, in the
last 24 hours.
An UNPROFOR spokesperson in Sarajevo said the detonations were
accompanied by small arms fire but observers could not investigate
further because of their limited freedom of movement.
The same source said that Bosnian Army troops in all liberated
territory in recent days had been strengthening their training.
There were infrequent explosions in other parts of north
Bosnia - the Sava River valley, Ribnica, Doboj, Lukavac, Tuzla and
Majevica.
In the entire Bosnia-Herzegovina area, UNPROFOR registered six
cease-fire violations, and Serbs were blamed for these.
No full-blown cease-fire violations were registered in
Sarajevo, but small-arms fire was opened 218 times. This was
described by a spokesman as "isolated incidents" that did not
threaten the cease-fire.
